Mr. Samer Salameh took the helm of Alfa as its CEO under the management of Orascom Telecom Holding S.A.E. (OTH) as of February 1, 2009.
He has a distinguished record of more than 18 years Telecom experience, mainly in the USA and in Latin America. He led the second largest Tech IPO of 1999 and listed the company  on NASDAQ. Moreover, he ran 2 public companies and led multi Billion dollars in Mergers and Acquisitions. He led the business interests of Mr. Carlos Slim Helou, in the USA for over 7 years and raised over $2 billion through various instruments:  IPOs, PPM, Debt financing, LBOs, Venture financing, early stage, late state…He also managed and co-founded three Startups and invested his expertise in consultancy for the past three years.
Holder of a Masters Degree in International Business, a BS in Management and Economics from Polytechnic University (Brooklyn, NY) and a Citicorp – Wreston Scholar (awarded for “Excellence in Finance”), Mr. Salameh will bring all his significant and worldwide experience to help Alfa to meet international standards and be in line with international operators.
