Rory Macmillan is Founding Partner of Macmillan & Co., a law firm based in Geneva, Switzerland.  The firm specializes in regulatory and policy advice and dispute resolution in the communications sector.  Clients include regulators, incumbent operators, new entrants and investors.
Macmillan & Co advised a bidder in its US$4.3 billion bid for the third Saudi Arabian mobile license, and in the Middle East and North Africa region has advised the TRA in Lebanon, the TRA in the UAE, the TRC in Jordan, the CITC in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Ministry of Telecommunications in Palestine. The firm has represented the Dutch incumbent KPN, Saudi’s STC and bidders for Turk Telekom in its privatization.

Mr. Macmillan practiced law in New York and London before establishing Macmillan & Co. He received his LLM from the Yale Law School (Fulbright and Rotary Scholarships), and his LLB (First Class Honours) from the University of Edinburgh. Mr. Macmillan is author of numerous articles and co-author of a World Bank book on dispute resolution.
