Dr. Marwan Jabri brings nearly twenty years of research, development, and commercialization expertise in multimedia communications systems and intelligent signal processing. His areas of expertise include voice and video compression and transcoding, multimedia quality of service, and video applications over mobile and broadband networks. Dr. Jabri is also the founder of Macchina, the predecessor to Dilithium Networks, and acted as both the driving technical force as well as CEO. He has significant expertise in multimedia protocols and their implementation in embedded systems, and was closely involved in a number of standarization activities, including with the ITU As Professor of Computer Engineering, University of Sydney and the Gordon & Betty Moore endowed Chair Professor, the Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) Dr. Jabri is the author or co-author of 2 books, several patents and over 150 technical publications in leading international journals and conferences, on intelligent signal processing.
