THTC joined hands with Tele Atlas, the world leader in Digital Mapping. THTC is playing the role of local partner for Tele Atlas. Tele Atlas provides latest digital map data for different parts of the world like US, Europe, East Asia, and Middle East region.

Space Imaging Middle East (SIME)

THTC has strategic partnership with Space Imaging Middle East (SIME) to use their most latest and updated satellite images. SIME provide high resolution IKONOS satellite images to THTC on regular basis.

I. Digital Maps

THTC developed its own high quality digital navigable maps of the entire UAE and Saudi Arabia. The maps are integrated with an extensive list of points of interest and administrative boundaries. All our maps and databases are bilingual (Arabic and English), the first of its kind in the region. Digital maps preparation for other GCC countries is in progress. When combined with the right software, these digital maps provide a base for unlimited number of applications in logistics, LBS, AVL, Geo-marketing Analysis …. etc.

II. Mobile Mapping

In cooperation with Tele Atlas, THTC can carry out Mobile Mapping projects. Mobile mapping is state of the art technology for collecting map data in the most fastest and efficient way.

III. EasyNav® Navigation System

THTC launched "EASYNAV®" in-car navigation system based on pocketPC/PDA platform for entire UAE, Lebanon and Pakistan. EasyNav® for Saudi Arabia will be launched soon with Arabic language support.

EasyNav® is a state-of-the-art, full-featured personal/in-car GPS navigation solution specially designed for the PocketPC/PDAs. IV. Location Based Services (LBS)

THTC is involved in a number of Location Based Solutions in cooperation with major organizations in the region. A wide range of innovative LBS applications are being implemented in these projects.

V. Web/Wap With Driving Directions

THTC launched DubaiEZguide in August 2001 which was the first website in the Middle East thats provides online driving directions alongwith various other advance features over the web. WAP edition for the same was also introduced on mobile phones in cooperation of Etisalat in UAE.

THTC carried out numerous projects on GIS-transportation, street naming, addressing, geocoding for number of cities in the region.
