CFM-M-MUX
CFM-M-MUX
is a multi-rate modular Indoor Unit (IDU) supporting 8/16/34Mbps
data rates. It has four slots to be complemented with 4 types
of interface modules, including 2-port fast Ethernet bridge
module, 1xE1 module, 4xE1 modules (balanced or unbalanced) and
V.35 module. The required capacity of each slot can be set through
LCD panel or through the terminal. CFM-M-MUX network management
system comprises the following essential features:

The
typical non-protected (1+0) link consists of two CFM-M-MUX
units, two CFM LM Outdoor Units (ODU), two antennas and coaxial
cables for interconnection of IDU and ODU.
CFM-MP-MUX
CFM-MP-MUX is specially designed to provide 1+1 protection
switching for CFM radio installations. Maintaining the key
characteristics of CFM-M-MUX - perfect modularity, 8/16/34Mbps
data rates support, various interface modules, local and remote
management functionality - it has a number of additional significant
features:
" Two built-in power supply units operate in load-sharing
mode to power IDU components and provide dedicated DC-DC conversion
for each ODU
" Two CFM LM radios are connected to the entire CFM-MP-MUX
" Enclosed power supply supervisor measures voltage,
reports to the management system and performs base-band signal
switching
" Protected signal and power supply circuitry.
" Maximum switchover time is 50ms
CFM-MP-MUX supports protected 1+1 Space Diversity, Frequency
Diversity and Hot Standby installations. Compatible with CFM
LM Outdoor Units. The typical CFM-MP-MUX link installation
comprises two CFM-MP-MUX units, 4 LM Outdoor Units (two ODUs
per MP-MUX), 2 or 4 antennas (according to configuration)
and IDU-ODU interconnection cables.

Full Outdoor Units
CFM
Full Outdoor Units have ultra compact "all in one"
design comprising IDU and ODU units in one device. The system
was initially designed to provide 4 or 8 Mbps of traffic capacity
implemented as 2xE1 or 4xE1 (G.703) channels. The new item
in CFM Full Outdoor series is 34Mbps Ethernet Full Outdoor
Unit equipped with 10/100 Ethernet Port and software configurable
2xE1 interfaces. Being the latest item in CFM FODU product
range, 34Mbps Full Outdoor unit supports two interfaces -
10/100Base-T Ethernet (30-34Mbps rate) and up to 2xE1. Available
capacities of the aforesaid FODU are 30+2+2, 32+2 or 34Mbps.
Full
Outdoor equipment is perfect for mobile operators and users
who do not require equipment located indoors. Typical applications
include PABX trunk connectivity, private combined data &
voice networks, cellular networks and medium speed access
to backbone networks of data service providers.
