JABRA BT200: Lightweight design - heavyweight technology
Bluetooth mobile phones and cordless headsets are becoming
more popular throughout Europe as people become aware of
the freedom that using a mobile phone hands-free and cord-free
gives them.
The latest Bluetooth headset to be launched in Poland is
sure to be very popular. The JABRA BT200 is already the
world's best selling Bluetooth headset for mobile phones.
JABRA
is offering two versions of the JABRA BT200, providing
all mobile phone users with the option of a convenient
and portable Bluetooth headset. The first is the headset
only for use with Bluetooth phones. The unit is supplied
with an integrated charger/holder with belt-clip. The
second is a headset and adapter all-in-one for use with
non-Bluetooth phones. In this case the versatile clip-on
charger/holder also functions as the Bluetooth adapter.
The JABRA BT200 will appeal to those with a sense of style
who like to adopt new technology. This tiny, ergonomically
designed unit, is worn comfortably over either ear and
connects cordlessly to your Bluetooth mobile phone,
which can be up to ten metres away - in a pocket, briefcase
or even in another room - giving you complete freedom
of movement.
But it is the distinctive, naturally-contoured design
of the JABRA BT200 which distinguishes it from other headsets.
It looks radical but, because its design is inspired by
the shape of the human ear it is practical, comfortable
to wear and convenient to put on. Its soft, sound absorbing,
elastomer body is crafted to fit naturally and securely
behind the ear - and because it weighs only 23 grams it
can be worn for long periods, in fact you forget you're
wearing it.
The audio design of the JABRA BT200 features a uni-directional
microphone for clear voice pick-up, and the unique JABRA
MiniGel, which channels sound into the ear canal
for superior clarity and reception. So you talk and are
heard easily, even with the background noises of the office,
street, car or home.
The compact headset has been designed around the end user
and contains one touch access to all the necessary functions
for making and receiving calls - such as volume control,
answer, end, and voice-activated dialling.
Conversations in the car are much safer with the JABRA
BT200 - you can make and receive calls cordlessly via
the headset, allowing you to concentrate on driving. If
you need to make a call, simply touch one button and then
speak into the headset to connect with your phone!
Being cordless, hands-free communication becomes so much
simpler. Using the JABRA BT200 actually makes calls on
your mobile feel as natural as face to face conversations.
You are not tied to the mobile, giving you the freedom
to talk and express yourself - no more worrying about
wires or defined space.
George Tennet, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at
JABRA, commented: ''We think that the JABRA BT200 will
become a favourite amongst mobile users, who will be amazed
that such a lightweight, ergonomic design can contain
such heavyweight technology. The distinctive design looks
good, is comfortable to wear and delivers the easy-to-use
functions and superior sound quality demanded by today's
consumer"
JABRA now offers the most extensive range of hands-free
products in the industry. The JABRA BT200 joins the other
two Bluetooth headsets being launched in Poland - the
JABRA BT100 and the JABRA BT300 - and will be available
to the consumer through all JABRA stockists throughout
the country from December 2003.
