Dr. Kamal Shehadi 
Managing Director

Dr. Kamal Shehadi is the Managing Director of Connexus Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in privatization and the economic regulation of telecommunications.  Kamal has served as consultant to a number of telecommunications companies in the region, investors, governments in the region, and various international organizations, including the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

Overall, Kamal has almost 15 years of experience in economic analysis and consulting.  Kamal's most recent experience includes:

Kamal has a B.A. with honors from Harvard University in economics and a PhD from Columbia University in international political economy.  He has received a number of fellowships and academic awards. Kamal has authored a number of books and publications, most recently on public finance and budgets, on privatization in Arab Countries and on foreign direct investments.  Kamal has experience in teaching and training, more recently as lecturer at the American University of Beirut's School of Business.
