The Forum, running in parallel
with the Exhibition, aims at bringing together Ministers administrators,
investors, researchers, manufacturers, users and operators to participate in a program that will combine
policy, economic, regulatory and technical issues. The sessions will focus
on emerging new Telecommunications, IT, postal &
broadcasting industry products , services, techniques, the
specific problems - and their solutions - of
the Arab States, particularly the urgent need for continuing
development of telecommunications to promote economic growth and satisfy
social needs. The Forum will comprise plenary sessions, parallel panels
and workshops where interaction between speakers and audience will be
encouraged. The Arabcom Congress, now in its fifth year, is widely
recognized as the region’s pre-eminent telecommunications,
IT, postal & broadcasting forum and
provides the highest profile platform for the establishment of
constructive dialogue between regional senior government officials and an
array of international project developer, bankers,
financiers, investors, multilateral agencies, telecommunications
specialists and advisors
